Privacy Policy of Jaumo ai
This policy explains what Jaumo ai does with personal information, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

- Who we areJaumo ai operates the website at jaumoai.com and the companion chat service offered through it. This policy explains what we collect from visitors and account holders, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it.
- Scope of this policyThis policy covers the Jaumo ai website, character profiles and chat features. It does not cover third-party websites you may reach from links placed on our pages, each of which publishes its own policy.
- Age requirementJaumo ai is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age, and accounts believed to belong to minors are closed and their data removed.
- Information you give usThis includes the email address used to create an account, a display name if you choose one, preference settings, and the content of the messages you send to Jaumo ai characters.
- Information collected automaticallyWhen you load a page we receive standard request information such as IP address, browser type, language, referring page and the time of the request. This keeps the service secure and available.
- Payment informationCard details are handled by our payment providers and are never stored on Jaumo ai servers. We retain only the record that a payment succeeded, the plan purchased and the renewal date.
- Conversation contentMessages exchanged with a character are stored so conversations can continue naturally across sessions. They are linked to your account and are not published, sold or used to identify you to other users.
- Purposes of processingWe use data to create and secure accounts, deliver replies, keep conversation continuity, process payments, prevent abuse, respond to support requests and improve the quality of the characters.
- Legal basesDepending on your location we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running a safe service, your consent for optional features and compliance with legal obligations.
- Cookies and local storageWe use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences and measure traffic in aggregate. You may block cookies in your browser, though sign-in will stop working.
- AnalyticsAggregated analytics tell us which pages are read and where visitors leave. Reports are statistical. We do not attempt to identify individual readers from analytics data.
- Advertising and referralsSome pages contain links to partner offers. Where a partner sets its own identifiers, that partner acts as an independent controller and its own policy applies to the data it receives.
- Service providersWe share limited data with hosting, payment, email delivery, fraud-prevention and customer-support providers acting under contract. They may use the data only to provide the service we requested.
- International transfersOur providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised safeguard.
- Retention periodsAccount data is kept while the account exists. Conversations are kept until you delete them or close the account. Billing records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law.
- Account deletionYou may delete your account from the settings area. Deletion removes your profile and conversation history from active systems, with residual copies cleared from backups on the ordinary backup cycle.
- Your rightsSubject to local law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- How to exercise rightsWrite to privacy@jaumoai.com from the address linked to your account. We reply within thirty days and may ask for additional confirmation before acting on a request.
- Marketing messagesService emails such as receipts and security notices are always sent. Promotional email is sent only where permitted and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Do not trackBrowsers send Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no common standard for honouring them, so Jaumo ai does not alter its behaviour in response to that header.
- Security measuresWe use encrypted transport, access controls, least-privilege administration and routine review of our systems. No online service can promise perfect security, and we do not claim to.
- Breach notificationIf a security incident is likely to create a significant risk to you, we will notify affected accounts and the relevant supervisory authority within the time frames set by applicable law.
- Automated decisionsCharacter replies are generated automatically, but no automated process produces a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Account closures for abuse are reviewed by a person.
- Children and reportingIf you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at safety@jaumoai.com and we will investigate promptly and remove the account where the report is confirmed.
- Third-party linksFollowing an external link takes you outside Jaumo ai. We do not control what those websites collect and encourage you to read their policies before providing information.
- Changes to this policyWe may revise this policy as the service develops. Material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after that date means you accept the revision.
